Returns & Shipping Policy

This Returns and Refunds Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made from Jennifer Ament https://www.jenniferament.com/ ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") through our website or any other sales channel. By making a purchase, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Policy.

General Policy

Due to the unique and delicate nature of our products, including fine art prints, paintings, and apparel, all sales are considered final. We maintain a strict no-returns, no-exchanges, and no-refunds policy, except under the very limited circumstances explicitly outlined below. We encourage all customers to carefully review their orders before completing a purchase.

Shipping and Responsibility

1. Transfer of Responsibility

Once an item, whether artwork or apparel, has been shipped from our premises, the responsibility for the item transfers entirely to the customer and the shipping carrier. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay that occurs during transit. Customers are encouraged to purchase shipping insurance for valuable items.

2. Shipping Damage Claims

In the rare event that an item arrives damaged due to shipping, the customer must:

  • Notify us immediately, and in no case later than forty-eight (48) hours after delivery, by contacting hello@jenniferament.com .

  • Provide clear photographic evidence of the damaged packaging and the damaged item.

  • Retain all original packaging materials, as these may be required by the shipping carrier for inspection.

  • Cooperate fully with any investigation conducted by the shipping carrier.

Failure to adhere to these requirements may result in the denial of any claim. We reserve the right to determine, at our sole discretion, whether a replacement or store credit will be offered for items damaged during shipping, provided all conditions are met. Cash refunds will not be issued.

3. Lost or Undelivered Shipments

In the event a shipment is lost or never delivered, the customer must contact hello@jenniferament.com with the tracking information within 3 weeks (21 days) of the estimated delivery date. We will respond within seven (7) business days to investigate if the package can be located via the shipping company.

Jennifer Ament reserves the sole discretion to determine the appropriate course of action. This may include, shipping a new print (at the cost of shipping to the client) if the item is not one-of-a-kind. For one-of-a-kind artwork, a resolution will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

4. Shipping Time Estimates

While we strive to process and ship orders promptly, any shipping times provided are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary and are subject to the shipping carrier's operations. In some instances, packages may take up to one (1) month to be received from the date of shipment. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Rush Shipping Estimates

Customers may request rush shipping by contacting us directly at hello@jenniferament.com . Please note that rush shipping availability and cost are dependent on the item(s) ordered and the desired delivery timeframe. A minimum rush shipping fee of $25.00 will apply, and the final cost will be communicated and must be agreed upon before processing the order.

Exclusions

The following items are explicitly excluded from any return, exchange, or refund consideration:

  • Items damaged due to misuse, neglect, accident, or normal wear and tear.

  • Items that have been altered or modified in any way after delivery.

  • Items for which a claim is made outside the specified timeframes.

  • Items purchased during a sale, promotion, or with a discount.

  • Custom or personalized orders.

  • Digital products.

Process for Approved Claims (if applicable)

If, and only if, a claim is approved by Jennifer Ament under the limited circumstances outlined in this Policy, the following process will apply:

  • The customer will be provided with instructions for returning the item.

  • The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance.

  • Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will notify the customer of the approval or rejection of their claim.

  • Approved claims may result in a replacement item (if available) or store credit, at our sole discretion.

Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Seattle, Washington.

Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this Returns and Refunds Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on our website.
